300+ and Shrinking
I came across this quote yesterday and wanted to share|
Losing weight is a science and keeping it off is a psychology and the two are completely different things

I am losing weight ok - and I understand the science of it. I consume less energy than I expend, I use more energy in exercising. Body fat is converted to energy to cover the deficit. And I have the tools to monitor and track my food and exercise. And I like science :) It makes sense.
I have no idea how I am going to go about keeping it off. I have to make changes to my thinking. I have to change my coping strategies. I am going to have to learn how to balance food and life. I have no idea how to do these things yet. But I have a lot of weight to lose and I don't need the answers today. I have started thinking about it, though, for down the track :)
